We got down 9 bosses on Tuesday on farm, and 2 new bosses on Thursday (Storage Wars... err Spoils of Pandaria, and Thok the Bloodthirsty), and we had a lot of learning on Siegecrafter Blackfuse.
Next week everyone should be ready to take down Siegecrafter Blackfuse and Paragons of the Klaxxi so we are ready to go with Garrosh.
Paragons of the Klaxxi is going to be a TRIP so please study up everything relevant to your class. For example, if you are a tank, you should know that Kil'ruk and Xaril cannot be tanked together. Learning this fight could take us all night next Thursday unless everyone has studied the mechanics relevant to your class, so please be prepared.
In other news, I'm writing this blog post tethered to my phone because we are mid-move! Hoping to be reconnected again tomorrow and definitely by Tuesday.
This week has been eventful. We got a few more bosses down (along with the second wing of Flex) and are now 9/14 after beating Iron Juggernaut, Dark Shamans, Nazgrim and Malkorok!
(Unfortunately, no pictures. Maybe next week when/if we remember)
Spoils of Pandaria is next, and we've already made some good progress (though we ran out of time to get a kill this week). It only gets better from this point onwards, and we should expect our first full clear in the next week or two. Stay tuned, heroic modes are coming!
As a reminder, we're still running flex every Wednesday and will continue to do so. Read the post I'll be making on the forums soon(tm) for more details!
Yesterday we finally ran into a boss that posed an actual challenge: Galakras!
After a few hours of attempts (and tons of hilarious fails such as getting knocked off the towers or falling through the ceiling or allowing our friendly NPCs to be killed) the massive proto-drake proved no match for our heroes.
In the kill attempt we got so sharp in executing our strategy that we even earned the achievement for the fight. Now we're off to Iron Juggernaut and the rest of the "Gates of Retribution" wing.
We're running Flex raids on Wednesday (and will continue to for the foreseeable future). If you're interested, sign up in game through the calendar and we'll bring you along. The only requirement I'm setting for now is that you read up on the encounters and have Mumble available (you don't need to speak, just be able to listen and follow directions).
If I can find some time this weekend, I'll make a more complete post about Flex and how to participate.
